HISTORY: Founded in the 1912 as the football section of the Gymnastics Club 'Forza e Coraggio' (founded in 1896) taking the name 'Foot Ball Club Alessandria'. In 1921 it merged with the 'Unione Sportiva Alessandrina' and adapted the name 'Unione Sportiva Alessandria'. In 2003 the club went bankrupt and the current club was created as a direct heir to the old one.

is taken from the female athlete of Greek mythology).
NICKNAME: Bergamasci (from the city of Bergamo), Orobici (Orobics),

HISTORY: Founded on the 26 April 1903 as a branch of 'Athletico Bilbao' and in 1904 it was joint by dissident members of 'Madrid FC'.
